The story begins on a rainy day in London, where I spent the earliest years of my life and later became a dual U.S. and U.K. citizen.
From there, I moved frequently before eventually settling in Houston, where I spent most of my life through my early twenties. My husband and I later lived in Boulder, Colorado, and today we call Arlington, Virginia home.
After graduating, I chose to study finance, inspired by my father’s love of investing. In my early years, we invested together as a team.
Growing up with a financial analyst and CPA reinforced the value of a strong foundation in financial principles, regardless of field or discipline.

As a student, I've always had a passion for reading literature, studying history, and learning about new cultures. In school, I found my voice and debated competitively across Texas.
On a weekend, you can typically find me searching for vegetarian recipes online. I am passionate about healthy living and love finding new ways to prepare nourishing meals. You may also find me at the library or listening to audio books. I am fond of writing and am working on a few pieces.
On other days, you might find me exploring a new restaurant or taking a language course.
In the words of Oprah, "Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe.” Bearing those words in mind, I have compiled a brief list of what I hope to accomplish as the following:
- Automate processes for others that will enhance their quality of life
- Publish a book that I am proud of
- Volunteer my efforts toward helping humanity
